Thoughtful Online Psychotherapy for Women's Wellness
I provide thoughtful, personalized online psychotherapy for women, focused on prioritizing your emotional well-being and building resilience. Inspired by Carl Rogers’ idea that “the curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change,” our work will emphasize self-acceptance and personal growth. I’ll help you shift unhelpful thinking patterns, adopt more constructive and realistic perspectives, and embrace authenticity, self-assurance, and balance. Together, we’ll build you a coping toolbox, celebrate your successes, and make thoughtful choices that support the life you want to create.

Work here might include support establishing healthy routines, clarifying goals and priorities, engaging in more activities that bring you joy, or developing increased self-awareness and insight.
I help women break free from the pressure of unrealistic expectations and self-imposed 'shoulds,' fostering self-compassion and a more authentic, fulfilling way of living.
Letting go of perfectionism and 'shoulds'
Breast cancer
Clients might struggle with a wide variety of emotional, physical, relational, and communication challenges related to breast cancer and its treatment. Some of the common breast cancer concerns I treat are: difficulty adjusting to a new breast cancer diagnosis or genetic testing results; adjusting to appearance changes as a result of treatment (e.g., mastectomy, breast reconstruction, hair loss, weight gain); managing symptoms and side-effects of treatment (e.g., pain, nausea, fatigue); communicating about cancer and survivorship with others (including healthcare providers and people in their support network); having difficulty deciding between treatment options, ruminating over thoughts about your diagnosis (e.g., “Why me?”), having difficulty asking for or accepting the help you need, giving yourself permission to create time and space for self-care, finding it hard to balance what you can get done during treatment and what you think you “should” be able to do, and fear of cancer recurrence.
