PROVIDING SUPPORTIVE & SOLUTION-ORIENTED PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES FOR WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER

Helping you navigate the ins and outs, ups and downs, and twists and turns of breast cancer with support, information, tools, humor, and acceptance for you and your unique life story.

Welcome

I am here to offer you personalized, cancer-focused psychotherapy to provide you with the support, skills and insights you need to feel less anxious, less stressed, and more empowered as you weather breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.

Do you feel overwhelmed by the physical, emotional, social, and lifestyle changes you’ve experienced since you were diagnosed with breast cancer?

Do you feel like it would be helpful to have a professional you can speak freely with, who’s not a friend or family member?

If so, it would be my genuine honor and privilege to offer you the time, space, skills and support you need to make the breast cancer journey more manageable and less overwhelming. If you’re interested in giving psychotherapy a try, I’m here to help.

My Approach

I offer individual psychotherapy to help women to feel less alone, more supported, and better able to manage the stresses, symptoms and side-effects related to the intense and unpredictable roller coaster that is breast cancer, treatment, and everything that comes next. I’m here to listen, to provide a safe space for you to express any and all thoughts and feelings, and to collaborate with you on developing a unique, personalized plan to achieve your goals. I’ll teach you practical, easy-to-learn, stress management tools and problem-solving techniques to help you cope and function more effectively throughout your cancer journey. About Me

Hi! I’m Julie Schnur, and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in breast cancer. I’m passionate about helping women with breast cancer because I’ve seen and heard time and time again how distressing, exhausting, shocking, and consuming the disease can be. Yet I’ve also seen firsthand how beneficial it can be for women to have a trusted professional by their side as they work to adapt, accept, endure, and even thrive while living with breast cancer. If you’re struggling with breast cancer and its treatment, it would be my honor to help and support you.

One in eight women will find themselves facing breast cancer, and I believe that each and every woman deserves to feel supported, heard, encouraged, and guided as they navigate diagnosis, treatment, and beyond.
